Why are Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle toys SO expensive?
TMNT Statues, 2003 figures, 25th annv. figures? I mean these things are $99.OO a piece on ebay!!!! For a 8" plastic figure? Am I missing something here???
Huh, I have that Donatello one. But no, I'm not selling it. Basically, the reason why it's so expensive is because they say it's rare, but really the thing with ebay is that if their aren't that many people selling things, they think well they have the market cornered, and basically charge what they want.
However in your search, put the words "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Giant", and they have two kinds of Turtles - the one from the 2003 series, and the ones from the original version which are much cheaper than your $99! These are 13 inches, and NOT 8 inches though. Right now, there is one Leo Giant older one, and the other giants are all 4 turtles from the 2003 series.
If you are looking for just the smaller 2003 turtles, don't say statue, but just say Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2003 instead or say Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2003 and the type of figure you want like Raphael in the search.
