Constructing an Interior Stone Wall
Felt paper, metal plank, mortar and stone facing are the most crucial materials for the construction of the interior stone wall. The advancement in technology has made it possible for manufacturing plants to produce synthetic stones, which contain organic mineral oxide colors, lightweight stone particles, cement amongst other chemically produced products.
The construction of the interior stone wall begins with the assembling of all the building materials. This is followed by measuring the entire top part of the wall, which will be covered. Installing manufactured stone is not only economical at one/3 to 1/2 the price of natural stone; it is lightweight and requires no footings, wall ties or foundations. Interior stone wall per panel weighs only 10 pounds per square foot and can be applied to any structurally sound surface.
