Magnetic Door Stops – Solid Brass Construction
Installing a magnetic door stop is a great idea for most homes because it can solve some very common problems with doors such as; lightweight doors that swing open and closed unexpectedly, heavy doors need additional assistance to remain open and poorly hung doors. Door stops are use primarily to hold a door open for a long period of time and they are available in a variety of materials. A magnetic door stop used a small magnet that is attached to the wall and the door to hold the door open and releases when it is pulled.
Door stops can range from heavy objects placed on the floor in front of the door to metal hook and eye systems. There are many difficulties with these types of door stops because not only can they be knocked out of place; they can also damage nearby walls and the door itself. A magnetic door is a permanent addition to the door that is easy to use and will not cause damage over time from frequent use.
