Where can I find an economical melter for Pewter?
I'm interested in casting some pewter pieces for jewelry.
I would like to know where I can find an economical melter
that is suitable for small melt jobs (10 lbs or less). The lead
melters for bullets dont seem to be able to handle the more
corrosive pewter. You help would be much appreciated.
Try a ceramic crucible and a torch. Just make sure the torch'll get hot enough.
