Why is the guy who seems to be crushing on me the opposite of who I want to attract?
Okay, I'm a bubbling girl full of obnoxious optimism. I am nerdy. I am eccentric. I like reading, writing, drawing(poorly), and band. I'm fairly self confident.
Now there's a guy who seems to be crushing on me(he gave me a small stuffed animal for my birthday, always tries to strike up a conversation with me in class, finds a way to sit next to me, etc) The guy is nothing like me or the guys I crush on- he's dark, brooding, and introverted. I don't see why he would be interested. I am nothing like him. I can't see any similar interests. It's very, very weird to me.
I'm not crushing back, FYI.

There is most likely some common ground. It just hasn't been properly announced.
