How old is this Ceramic Bull? Or where do I find a site that is willing to provide the info I need?
I have this ceramic bull that I know is at least 60 years old, probably closer to 80.
I know there is a matching matador to it, but I dont know if they were sold together or separately.
I would like to know what company made them.
I would like to know the exact age.
I would like to where it came from.
Any info anyone can give would be much appreciated, thanks.

the only mark is 'U.S.A.' and 'No. 551'
as for a site, i can't help you...but have you tried taking it to an antique dealer? you should have some small towns near where you live that specialize in antiques. check with your state or local commerce commission.
another possibility is to try borders books or barnes and noble...they have antique pricing guides that you can browse for free while enjoying a cup of joe!
hope you find the mate and get the value. very neat piece! (ps. also on the bottom there may be a mark in the ceramic from the mold. check out books that specialize in decoding the mark for who made it)
